How To Save A Rotting Post
When this happens, most homeowners think that the only sure way to make the necessary repairs is to replace the old post with a new one, but this is often more of a job than they are willing to tackle. Besides the fact that one has to find and buy a full-size new post that will match, there is also the problem of removing the old post without tearing half the fence apart and then getting the new one back in exactly the same place. If several posts that are next to one another in the same section are involved, then chances are that replacing the posts is the only permanent way to save the entire fence from collapsing.
