Hollow Tine Aerator

A hollow tine aerator is a type of core aerator that is manually pushed into the ground, usually by foot like a fork or spade, and removes several thin plugs or cores of soil and turf around 2-3" deep and 0.3-0.5" in diameter. The hollow tine aerator is one of the underrated stars of the lawn care world. Buying a hollow tine aerator is simple and cheap and is safe to use around children and animals as the work is all manual!
